A brief tutorial - Personalizing the forum

Profile/Options
• To add your avatar, go to the Profile tab in the menubar on
top, select "forum profile" and you will be able to upload or
choose an avatar there, and add any other details you wish. Look
for and hit the "Change Profile" button towards the bottom on
the lower right, or your changes will not be saved.

Please note: E-mail addresses are not and will not be made
publicly viewable.
Modifying the forum for your usage preferences - the common
requests:
• You can do some customizing of how the site works for you by
going to "Profile > Account Settings" on that page, there is an
option in the lefthand sidebar menu for "Look and Layout", which
will let you decide some stuff like how many posts you see per
page, and whether you see the newest post first or last.
Go to Profile > Account Settings > "Look and Layout" (in the
lefthand sidebar menu) for
• To see newest posts in a thread first, check "Show most recent
posts at the top"
• To turn off the annoying warning that new messages were posted
while you were writing your post, check "Don't warn on new
replies made while posting"
• To stay on the thread instead of being kicked out to the list
of topics, check "Return to topics by default".
Go to Profile > Account Settings > Personal Messaging to turn on
the ability to save a copy of your outgoing messages by default
and choose how to display messages to you (threaded
conversations, all in-box, etc.)
Here also, look for the Change Profile button in the lower right
corner to save your changes:
