Where is the tumor? if it is on/near her bladder that may be the
issue. I am willing to donate to help with her treatment. Just
       let me know.

That's very kind of you. However with a daughter going to
college in the fall any extra money that we have has to go to
       that -
The tumor is on her adrenal gland. I have to keep looking that
up 'cause I don't really know where it is.

Don't the adrenals sit on the kidneys?

You're right, they do. I still want to wean her off pheno
though. It's nervewracking having her on something that if I
miss a dose, could cause nasty side effects
just have to hope at this point. maybe switch to gabapentin

How big is the playpen? The one we had for the puppies was this
  HTML https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00F97RJH6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s01?ie=UTF8&th=1<br
/>and we used a whelping pad under it. The pad extended a
       couple
of inches beyond the playpen. I had two (but I wasn't looking
at putting a kid through college) that I alternated between so I
could always put one down while the other was being washed.

The tumor may well be putting pressure on her bladder, depending
       on how big it is.

Thanks, but the more I think about it the playpen is a mistake
for my dog. She's better more confined in a crate. Also forces
her to rest. I got the playpen because if she pees in the crate
then she's sitting in it for hours. But it seems to be the best
       option for her personality.

       Totally possible.
