So tired of the 90 degree+ days. If I wanted 90 degree days I'd
       live in Arizona or someplace.
Weather forecast has changed. Instead of the heat wave ending
Saturday night, now they're thinking it'll end Sunday night. If
it's really 90+ on Sunday this will make the longest consecutive
stretch of 90 degree days in Seattle history. Whoopdedo.

I am sorry. This sucks, especially after so many heat records
were set across the region just 2 summers ago. Here we go again.

Holy fucking shit, my electric bill is over a hundred dollars
*more* than usual this month. I checked the number of kwh and
it's off the charts. And I was wondering if there was some
mistake and then I remembered that Godforsaken heat wave.

       I feels ya.
My water bills have always been nice and low.
I put down sod last week.
The lawns around here are turning very brown.
Not looking forward to the next water bill, but I want green
       grass, dammit.

It is very dark and raining sideways outside.
       Did the same last night.
I kinda like a good storm, more lightning last night was better.

More like 26 minutes. The proverbial old man is snoring.

We haven't had a good storm for months. But that's our summer.
(No, I'm not counting the maybe 1/4 inch of rain overnight last
       week.)
But it's a pretty good summer. No forest fire smoke at ground
level here so far (knock on wood).

Our rain is so pitiful when it comes that I STILL have to water
my potted plants afterwards. I kid you not. It rained
yesterday at 4pm ish. I was outside biking. I got wet. I was
watering plants as 7pm because some of them still looked wilty.
