How did everybody do with the storm? Here it was just snow and
wind, no loss of power. Oldest took LCP out in it for a long,
snowy hike and she was in heaven. Lotsa cleanup today, boo.

I’m good but we haven’t had to go outside yet. Currently
listening to the sounds of somebody who spun their tires, melted
the snow at the back into an ice sheet and can’t get enough
traction to get out of the parking spot. I heard someone giving
them advice so they have help and I don’t feel impelled to go
down and be helpful myself.
Oh… and there’s the snow plow I hear…

1. Straighten your wheels.
2. Don't ever gun it.
3. Rock back and forth to create enough momentum to get off the
icy bit.

I am currently waiting for my husband to send me a pic so I can
share it with you. My in-laws are complaining about how cold it
is. My MIL sent a pic of my my FIL dressed to let the dogs out.
He’s wearing a winter jacket, gloves, scarf. The whole kit n
caboodle.
They’re in Florida. It’s 40.

Okay, here you go... it's cold in Florida. At 40° out today.
Scritchy says he's never seen the man wear gloves before. He is
extremely entertained by this, since we currently have icicles
hanging off the fire escape outside our window.

It's February, and it's going to snow tonight, maybe a few
inches, maybe a foot, and, well, that's February in Chicago.
