We've had some big, bad storms coming through Chicago today.
Both this afternoon and again this evening, the rain came down
so hard that it almost looked like fog. I could barely see the
house across the street. One branch fell not quite on my
neighbor's car. No damage, but it did a pretty good job of
blocking the street. Now the radar makes it look like steady and
relatively gentle rain for another few hours.
The side benefit of a big storm is that it's keeping the idiots
with fireworks inside.

It rained last night and dropped the temperature to about 80F
right now. Lately it's been 86 or so at this point. Doggos are
enjoying the cooler weather and having a good romp in the back
yard.
We may even get a little more rain this afternoon. I hope so;
we really need it.

Well, we're getting a lot of tornado warnings here in the
Chicago .

The storm went more in [member=17]AbidingDudev4.1[/member] 's
direction than mine.

This was in the burbs, but there is nothing more Chicago than a
full line of cars waiting in line at Portillo's as a tornado
bears down on them.

The storms today are very thundery.
Very dark too.
