Well I hope you're happy now, VGS! Ten or more inches of snow
here, widespread power outages, the whole nine yards.

We got slushy rain on Sunday. It looked like snow falling for
about 30 minutes. But when I drove home it splashed on the
windshield like slush. So maybe not snow.
Supposedly snow later this week.

They were telling us we’d get another 9 inches this week but now
I see it’s down to 2. We’re now in the top 10 snowiest winters
for the Twin Cities. 7th or 8th place and likely moving up.

From my weather app.
Queenie’s area is covered in snow and all kinds of problems are
happening.
A shopping mall in Duluth Minnesota had part of its roof
collapse due to heavy snow. Duluth’s had over a 100 inches
already this year. I’ve been in thst mall.
Houses in South Dakota are blowing up due to heavy snow on their
gas meters.
It’s time for spring to show up.

Damn. I drove up to the cabin my myself expecting to have to
shovel a few inches of snow to get in. We leave a shovel near
the parking area. Well it was more like a foot and a half and
there was a big drift in front of the shovel. The bottom couple
inches of the path was ice and in a few spots I left it since I
was afraid chipping at it was going to break the shovel.
It's sunny still, but only in the mid 20s so not much melting
today. However, it's supposed to get near freezing tomorrow so
I'm going with the darker path exposed the sun heats it up
enough to melt some of the ice.
We don't need anymore snow. Where is spring?

They keep breaking in on my TV, but these things are usually EF0
or EF1 if they make landfall. The people who need the bulletin
are out on boats, not sitting here:
...FUNNEL CLOUDS POSSIBLE THROUGH THIS EVENING IN SOUTHWEST
WASHINGTON AND NORTHWEST OREGON... An unsettled weather pattern
has led to widespread shower activity this morning across
southwest Washington and northwest Oregon. Showers will continue
through this evening with a 15-40% chance of thunderstorms
forming. Showers and thunderstorms will be capable of producing
funnel clouds as well as heavy rain, accumulating hail, gusty
winds, and lightning. Funnel clouds often do not touch the
ground. However, if they do touch the ground they are dangerous
and can be damaging.
