Here it's light by 9 AM and dark about 4 PM... of course how
many of those hours are sunny will be much less than that.

Because it snows! And I can bundle up and go for a walk in the
snow looking at Christmas lights and then settle under the
blankets with a hot chocolate and a snuggly furball and watch
Christmas movies or read books or knit sweaters!
I don't get how anyone can choose voluntarily to be outside on
90 degree days with a billion percent humidity.
