even sure it was an actual word.
Even thought it appears to be real, I still dont know what it
means. ???

I've only seen the word in one specific book/movie context.

SPOILER ALERT! Do not read if you haven't done the Wordle
today!
It's a word that is the root of sheriff (shire reeve), who
managed the counties in England and environs. The word itself
basically is "county" in the UK.
I learned it first from the books, but then had it reinforced
being in SCA.
