Some of you may have seen this. The up-date is not to be missed,
so read down. I'm partial to orange cats, having had them as
pets and barn cats when I was growing up.

FWIW, we had a smart orange tabby while I was growing up. He had
to wear a cast on one of his front legs for a while, and he
figured out that we'd let him in if he knocked on the door with
that leg.
The woman trying to teach the ginger cat how to be smarter is
acting like she has nary a clue about cats!

Confession: When I first saw the title of this thread, I
thought [member=73]GladGrace[/member] had written it about
herself.
I'm pleased to report that once I opened the thread, and saw
that she'd posted an AITA written by someone else, all was again
right with the world. *whew* (sorry, GG)
Now that that's cleared up, I'm going to go replace my gerbil's
photo on my phone with a pic of a sweet potato. 🍠
