Just saying hi

Hi, and happy holidays to the crew. Hope all are well, and I am
sorry to everyone who is grieving over Dat's passing. [hugs]
That truly sucks.
Have had multiple logons for both here and Reddit and have
forgotten them and passwords, and was more addicted to Hax than
I gave myself credit for. Signed back up under another
email/name so only had to pay $40. There are some really bad
comments from limited people. OT was so much better.
Also, for realz, I used to have good friends here, we used to
meet in person for some years, but covid has made me shallow and
closed off, not in a highly damaged way, but just in a tired
way. It's easier to have surface relationships on a board where
you can only comment on topic than relate to people in a way
that has substance, and you guys deserve better given what I
think of you all.
So surface it will be for me for the time being until
life/I/everything returns to normal, but I would like to check
in now and again to see how you all are.
Bora was on under another name for a while, and the guy can
absolutely be nice. When he is like that, I actually miss him
when he is gone, as he seems to be now.
Also, next month is Red's 8th year of being gone from this
realm, and if anyone wants to offer kind words to her mom,
please leave a note over at CaringBridge.com on Angela Nims'
page. I know it does mean a lot to her mother.

#1) Can we talk about what YOU deserve? If you're feeling burnt
out and just want to talk letters, we have plenty of that here,
and peeps who care about you and don't need you to be at full
throttle to see you around and talk to you.
#2) Love you, glad to see you here.
#3) If you need password recovery, there doesn't seem to be a
built in auto-method but a few peeps have made a single new
account to message me so that I can change it to something and
give them that password and they can get into their account
again (and then change the password - all you peeps reading this
that I did that for, DID change your passwords, right? RIGHT??).
So anyways. If you'd like me to do that for one of the others or
just delete the other accounts and leave you with this one, let
me know.

Ani, you are kind. This is nice, like warm 'n shit. (haha, but
really, it is) I realized I am logged in on my phone as starzy,
also. So I have access to at least one of my other logins. I
don't care if they are out there, not a thing, but thank you.
You know, some of the letters are really terrible. And even some
of the answers, but that is rare. Sometimes I think CH is burnt
out, too. I can chit chat about topical stuff, and I am always
up for posting pics of my dogs. Up for that. And I hate small
talk, which truly limits people who want to remain topical, as I
do. But I will check in. The comments in response to my post and
the messages I got are making me a bit verklempt.
Your attempt to meet me in the middle is even greater than Marin
Morris', and I am therefore touched. I will stay and post here,
I promise. Is AKChild here? She is a FB friend, but I haven't
been on social media that much, either.

time now that it's fairly well up and running, other than
participating in the convos!

Well, you know how we are. People should feel comfortable to
participate as much as they want or not here. That's how we do.

The "topical-ish" convo happens mostly over on the Daily
Threads, and we've expanded into the WaPo advice roundup, plus
AskAManager. Ably and dependably started off by LabPartner every
day. Lots of stuff to chew on... and that doesn't even delve
into the days when we go completely off into the weeds debating
the acceptability of hazelnut coffee or wearing pantyhose. ;)
