If I read that right, all of the participants were previously
infected and some of them were also vaccinated. If that is
correct then the study does not compare previous infection to
vaccination but rather previous infection+vaccination against
previous infection alone.

The main point is, folks with prior infections should still get
vaccinated. (I realize the CDC isn't unbiased in this regard.)

Nope, not at my fingertips. I read and hear a lot of medical
news, and I don't keep track of what I've seen or heard where.
And as a non-scientist and non-journalist, precision is not my
primary concern when I write online.
