Okay, I'm gonna say that today's Bee SUCKSSSS for finding words
in general. And because of that I am really farking proud of my
brain for looking up just now and saying "Hey... that's the
pangram... go put that in."

Also, at 15/71, I have found more than half the words and that
may be my success goal for the day. Genius may not be in my
future today, and I'm okay with that. Good enough to be Amazing.

Sleep deprivation seems to help me to do better at the Bee.
26/123 at 4.00 am. Finally managed to get to sleep with a
feeling of accomplishment!

Well then, I went to the bathroom on the way out of work, and
have ended up at 18/84. With only 9 points to go, this is what
will happen:
I will leave it open to the bee while I am typing away here, and
my husband will come steal it to go look for words. And then he
will curse me because I have already found all the good words.
And then he'll find something and wait to be petted on the head
for being a good boy. Which I will absolutely do.

The bait has been taken.

So... that was how it started. Here's how it's going... he
didn't find any words and just gave me the phone back.
During back massage time, I told him that he fell down on the
job. After I had successfully baited him, he didn't even find
one word. And that he hadn't complained that I'd found all the
good words either.
"Well clearly you had though."
And then it looked like this:
"You know how successful I thought baiting you would be? I
posted what I was doing on the forum before I did it."
"You manipulative bitch."
(a bunch of laughter)
"Yeah, but now that I've told you what I did, I won't be able to
bait you again, because you won't fall for it."
"Eh. We'll see."
This is the comment of a man who knows himself well enough to
know what kinds of bait he can resist. He also said "Keep your
friends close, and keep your manipulative bitches closer". Awww.
He wuvs me. 🤣

Pro tips for spelling bee…
Do it while you’re barely awake, or
Do it while you cannot sleep in the wee hours, or
Go to the bathroom and words will come to you miraculously, and
if you have a partner, shout the words out. Sometimes, they will
say, “those letters aren’t even there”, or, “it has to have a
T”……and so forth.

I will admit that my best days are the ones when I get up to go
to the bathroom in the middle of the night and get a head start
on that day’s puzzle. So I think you’re on to something.
