What is wrong with pentangle or plantage? Both are pangrams,
dammit!

I got Queen Bee today!
They've added a hints section that is quite helpful for those
last few words.

Finally got the pangram today. Some of these ridiculous words
certainly don’t add to my command of the English language!

I have been playing the Spelling Bee for about 2 years now, and
was frustrated that I didn't seem to be improving significantly
on the levels that I generally reached, other than being a bit
quicker. I had only got Queen Bee 2 or 3 times.
Then I recently found the Hints section with the grid that
showed the number and length of words beginning with one letter,
and the number of words beginning with the first 2 letters. I
think it only recently showed up on the actual Bee page?
Anyway, I now use that once I have reached the limit of which
words come quickly to me. I find it much easier to pick up
additional words once I have those clues. And I now get Queen
Bee most times! (Or for the really obscure words, I cheat and
google "words with 7 letters beginning with ZI"

Yes, they added the hints to the Spelling Bee page recently. You
used to have to know how to get to the Spelling Bee forum page:
