You are both WRONG, because key lime pie has everything good
about lemon meringue pie (citrus curd) and nothing bad (possibly
gluey filling, sweaty meringue), and also, graham cracker crust
is superior.
Key! Lime! Key! Lime!
Also, key lime pie has perhaps the highest effort/deliciousness
ratio of any food in the universe.

Fridge space is an issue, so we can't have both at the same
time.
Three was a letter in Slate recently, about birthday cakes, and
had all kinds of gender and family dynamics, but it came down to
a problem that could be solved by extra cake.
My thought was that I'd bake both the requested strawberry
cheesecake, traditional chocolate cake, and throw in a lemon
tart because it balances the flavors.
Please note, I am neither a therapist nor a nutritionist.

Cornbread Dressing(I'm putting this first as it's the most
important thing to my wife)
Slow Cooker Turkey Breast
Ham
Mashed potatoes
Cranberry Fluff
Cranberry in the shape of a can
Rolls
Pies but still deciding on which

I will amend to: I LOVE lemon meringue pie when somebody else
makes it.

I will allow that good lemon meringue pie is to die for. Alas,
it is not always good. Key lime, OTOH is pretty good even when
it's not at its best.

I know what you mean. Mine is usually good, occasionally to die
for, and sometimes a sloppy mess.

It's a dessert. I can't remember exactly...
real cranberries in the food processor with sugar, let it sit
overnight
Cool Whip
Pecans
Crushed pineapple?
marshmallows
I think that's it. I like it, but it irritates my tongue a
little.

I absolutely adore both. Unless it's the instant key lime
filling variety. Or leftover lemon meringue where the
meringue/curd contact has gotten all sweaty and weird.
I'm not picky at all :D

Key lime pie is the utility player of the dessert table.
