Another one to love, we hope

One is never enough, it seems. Now that Hobbes is neutered, we
are (strongly) considering adopting a companion for him -
probably a young female, a bit older than he, still playful, but
schooled enough in the ways of both cat and human worlds to help
educate our savage little boy (and deck him if he oversteps his
boundaries). Hobbes needs someone to play with who doesn't have
QUITE the delicate skin that his hoomans have.
This beautiful calico, Yardley, may be that companion. She's
skinny in this photo because she just finished nursing four
kittens (now weaned). Some lowlife dumped her and her kittens,
in a plastic storage container, in a store parking lot, and a
woman who was on her morning walk found them and brought them to
a local org, the Animal Rescue & Care Fund. Yardley (who will be
renamed if she comes to us) needs to be spayed, and recover from
the surgery, and then we will go meet her at her foster mom's
house, and see if she seems to warm to us (and vice versa), and
seems like enough of a badass to take on the Brat Cat.
You are cordially invited to send mojo for this to work out. I'm
such a damned sap - I'm ALREADY falling in love with this little
two-thirds calico, one-third tuxedo girl. Will keep you posted
as events progress.

She's absolutely lovely and clearly needs a loving home. I do

She looks almost tortie. In my experience that means plenty of
attitude and sass. My Frankie sure ran the animal side of our
household. The human side too but we pretended otherwise.
