Dear Self, Who May or May Not Be a Floof

       Dear Self,
Please close lids on jars all the way. They don't need to be
       tight.
In the alternative, please stop picking up jars by their lids.
It's been 30ish years. Aren't you tired of proving the same
       theory over and over again?
       Love,
       Your better half

       Dear Self,
When the puppy is quiet and happily engaged, this is actually a
bad thing, as she is very likely eating your shoe.

       Dear (stoopid) Self,
When you use liquid wood furniture polish (the real stuff: not
that candy-azz Lemon Pledge aerosol crap), just wear rubber
       gloves, okay?
No matter how many times you wash your hands, it doesnt come off
AND it makes your hands reek forever.
Seriously: How hard is it to just learn that one simple little
       lesson* ?
       Love,
       me
       *(a rhetorical question, of course)

       Dear self,
No matter how many times you think "Yay! She's finally grown
up!" [and has figured out personal space and won't bash into me
at full speed] No, no she hasn't.
Duck when the horse comes your way ;D

       Dear Self,
You know all those surly people who scoff when a pet owner
refers to a pet as their kid?
Well, I was just walking past my gerbil's cage while munching on
       an apple slice.
I know she loves apple, so instead of swallowing the last bite,
I took a little bit of chewed up apple out of my mouth and gave
       to Gerbil.
Now, if that's not motherly love, then what is.... ?

       Dear Self,
If you get away with not closing a lid all the way,
       congratulations!
And then if you somehow get away with lifting a bottle by that
       unclosed lid, hallelujah!
So maybe don't press your luck by shaking the bottle to mix the
       liquids? Just a suggestion.
       Sincerely,
       Your better half

       Dear Self,
Having discovered that the first bottle of beer foamed up
instantly when opened, you might be a little more cautious
       opening the second bottle.
