Anyone else seeing shortages?

Chlorpheneramine, by itself - a decongestant that also is a
strong sleep aid. Use it for when I'm too congested to sleep,
and when consulting with a vet can use it for anxiety in my dog
(think fireworks).

I use that old school antihistamine, too. It was what was
available when I was a kid. I appreciate the non-drowsy ones on
the market now and use them in the day. But they don't knock out
allergies the way Chlortrimeton could. Now only the generic is
available and I have to get it online. But even so, it surprised
me that when the hospital asked about medications, they could
not find it on their system and the nurses had never heard of
it. So, I guess yeah, really old school.

Re the supply chain: this thread is fascinating and also makes
me wonder if ordering for Christmas is going to be impossible?

Sounds weird, but I ordered a Christmas tree already. Due to
arrive this weekend. I read that most will be unavailable
shortly.
I know, I hate fake ones.....but a family member nearly died the
last time we had a real tree. (Throat closed). We had to haul
that out to the curb ASAP while they were getting emergency
medical care. So, we're stuck with decorating plastic. ::)
While not ideal, I'll aim for festive, however we manage it!

Still no peanut butter. Why do I have to be so picky about
peanut butter? Almond butter is my choice of substitute if I
can't get my favorite brand. Yesterday's grocery order was
otherwise good. Not many substitutions and of the substitions
most were a different size not a different brand. Much better
than last month.

I hadn’t noticed until this past week that nut butter is a bit
iffy here too. I mostly order the giant 2-pack of “all-natural”
Smuckers from BJs. No replacement if it’s not in stock, and
instead, I’ll grab a tub of the fresh ground at MOMs. That’s
always available.
Then this week I was restocking my emergency food kit for
backpacking and needed a few of the single-serve packs of nut
butter. All they had were sunflower which is pretty much useless
for my purposes. I want all the fat and calories, tyvm.

Should I be a complete jerk? I’m completely done Christmas
shopping. The last gift arrived in September ;D

For the only folks outside our house, it will be gift
certificates to local game stores. For us inside the house,
we'll have access to the things we most want (from local game
stores most likely).
