Ooey Gooey Brown Butter Blondies

These have been a hit every time I have made them. They are on
the sweet side of sweets, but well tempered by the salt in the
brown butter swirl layer. I tend not to use the pecans, and
nobody has ever told me they were missing.

I don't think I've ever made anything from Epicurious that
wasn't amazing.
Thanks. Even though you leave out the pecans, which around here
is sacrelige.

Definitely "puh-CAHNS."
I know I've said it before, but my MIL's pee can in their town
house elevator(!) has forever ruined "PEE-cans" for me. I will
look at you funny. I will likely laugh. It's nothing personal

It is puh-CAHNS. I will die believing this one. Don't even get
me started about the proper pronunciation of pecan "praline".
