Call came in at 0035 Friday. He didn't make it. My colleague
who has the others came to my room to tell me Spot died as well.
We have the other 4 this week as she will be out of town. They
seem to be recovering from whatever this damned stuff is.
They're certainly more energetic than last weekend, and Brume
climbed my leg three times in the time it took me to open a can
of food and divide it among 4 bowls. You can bet we're watching
the lot of them and little Hoshi like hawks for any sign of
appetite failure or a recurrence of the diarrhea.
My suspicion is they took them from Chana (the mother) too soon
because the rescue was in a rush to get her shipped off to
Canada. They're about the same age as Hoshi and he was a good
double their size last weekend, although three of them have
nearly caught up this weekend.

I'm so sorry Iggy didn't make it either. You really put all your
love and efforts into them, and I know it hurts when nothing we
can do can save them.
Hoping for the best for the others, and for Hoshi. Sending mojo
their way.
That "rescue" almost sounds like hoarders in the sense that they
love the animals, and intend to do right by them, but don't have
the ability or knowledge, and don't really know what they're
doing. Again, I wonder if there's some oversight authority, the
Humane Society or the ASPCA maybe, that might be able to take a
look at this rescue group.
