Aard, I’m so so sorry too! How heartbreaking for you. Please

They called me while I was at work today. Ignis is fading. They
get his temperature up and then it goes back down. His glucose
levels stay in the good range for 6 hours and then crash. Now
he doesn't eat and they are syringe feeding him, but he's
"pushing it all back out". I made the decision that rather than
keeping him alive but struggling it would be best to let him go.
I confirmed that with the vet's office and drove over there to
pay his last bill, sign the euthanasia papers, and collect the
       meds that were left.
While I was waiting for them to bring me the bill after signing,
the tech called me. The owner of the clinic wanted to try a
different treatment for two more days, at his own expense. He
didn't like the way the vet that was on when Ignis and Winston
came in was handling it, but he understood that we'd spent a lot
of money already. He just wanted a crack at it.
Naturally I agreed. If this works, the damned rescue isn't
getting him back, though. I figure we've paid for him.
So if you can squeeze out just a little more mojo for Iggy, I'd
       appreciate it.

Poor little fella. Best of luck to him!
And plenty of comfort and warm fuzzies for you, too! You've
been through some pretty rough waters lately.

Sending love and mojo. I hope this treatment works.
I wonder if that rescue can be reported to someone, some
oversight authority? Sounds like they really don't know what
       they're doing.
