Paul Simon

I’m so jealous stepson is going to see Paul at Hollywood Bowl
tomorrow! He is 84 now, deaf in one ear, and I’m amazed he can
do this at all!
I’ve read mixed reviews but I’d still see him if I could. I had
a fantasy when I was 14-15 and listening to their albums
endlessly that I’d be the female singer Simon and Garfunkel
chose to tour with them, like Peter Paul and Mary I guess.

I saw him in 1990: it literally was a dream come true. (my
college bf had gotten me into S&G and between us, had so many of
their records. ) Paul is a genius lyricist: sheer poetry. so
im also jealous ! I could use some of his beautiful words
right about now.
