       User Alerts and phone issues
   DIR By: farmgirl
       Date: May 30, 2026, 11:03 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Does anyone know how to get rid of the red circle next to User
Alerts on the home page? Going into the alert, marking it
"read" and checking "delete read messages" seems to do nothing.
I get a pop up asking if I really want to delete it, I say that
I do but the red alert and the message remain.
Small thing, but I find that red circle distracting.
Also, my phone keeps signing me out and wants me to log in again
every time. I've got it set so that I am always logged in, but
it keeps doing it. And since I usually read on my phone in the
middle of the night when I cannot sleep, I can't log in because
the facial recognition required to log in on my phone can't ID
me in the dark. This just started happening within the last few
days. But it is EVERY TIME.

I’ve deleted it, but I can’t say how! It was very much not
       intuitive.

It took me a few tries on my IPad yesterday. Like acl I could t
       tell you what finally worked.
One thing g worth trying though if it’s an iPhone is to close
all your windows or turn it off and back on. That’s often worked
for annoying stuff for me. Can’t speak to Androids.

On the right, put checks in all the entries you want to either
       delete or mark as read
Choose your action below the list
       Click on "Go"
I know it's not intuitive, but it is easy once you do it.
