Thank you for the link to the article about Redheadwithglasses.
That was longer ago than I realized I had been reading WaPo
comments, yet I do remember reading some of her comments. Too
bad the links within the article to Redhead's comments are
broken - probably thanks to that >:( new software system.

Thanks! I took a photo of it, since WaPo no longer allows me to
copy and paste. This makes it easier. Hope she's making it over
here...or Reddit.

Just for reassurance... no toes were stepped on. We're not very
formal around here, and expect people to post stuff they think
is interesting or useful. Nobody is reserving the right to start
a thread on anything specific except as it relates to their own
personal lives. :)
And thx for pulling those over here. If esda doesn't show up
here/want to do it herself, we might want to copy the recipes
over to the recipe sub-forum/board just for easy reference.

I, for one, vouch for the Chinese sesame bread being super easy
and great! Made it last year. Thanks for reminding me to do it
