I'm betting my in-laws are getting ready to stand on the lawn.
They live within 5 miles of of the base, and can see the
launches (once they clear the treeline) from their lawn and go
out to watch when they can.
This is a lovely thing except for that one time when I was
visiting and they woke me up at 5:30 in the morning to come out
and watch with them.

I make this declaration here and now. When they launch to land
on the moon, I will be in Florida watching.

This was cool! Bob enjoyed getting to see it. Three other
couples came out to watch with us.
The wind must've been blowing away from us, because we never
heard the rumble--usually takes about 2-3 minutes to reach us,
but we didn't hear it at all.

I'd like to see a space launch. Kinda the wrong part of the
country. And if I book a flight to Florida, who knows whether
the launch will be delayed too much.
I hope the missions continue! Congress tends to get bored with
funding them.
