Immunity Challenge
Yup, the figured out the challenge correctly. If I were playing
this season I would have PTSD from all the twists revealed
later... like... now you don't know whether it matters if you go
hard for this immunity challenge because that twist might put
you in more danger.
Dayum at going down to 1 foot instead of letting them just wait
it out. Welp. That definitely was effective at ending it fast!
And welp... that was a bit of a mindfuck.
OMG. That twist! This will definitely flush some idols because
there's still only one person with immunity!
And those groups... split the sides between the two groups.
That's random chance but it's going to seriously add to
jockeying that's about to happen in each camp.

Post challenge:
Cirie - PLAY YOUR ADVANTAGE. Down to these few I wouldn't take
the chance.
Again, Emily's analysis is good. She's now proposing what they
want to do. But then it's all a big double cross. It's excellent
strategy.
Oh my. Tiff trying to go after Ozzy from across the beach. And
of course, Jonathon is all on board.
Oh, Ozzy is wayyyyyyyy too confident. YOU NEVER DO THIS. Wait,
he's spilling the tea to Aubry? WTF? Ozzy! What are you DOING?!?
This is not Jury Management, this is SUICIDE.
And did he somehow miss that Aubry and Rizo have a bit of a
connection? And that's dangerous info for everyone else!
Ozzy... um. I usually like you. But, yeah, I'm pretty sure
you're going home tonight.
lol. Ozzy might have taken out Cirie too! Dumbass.
Rizo is thinking things through well. I appreciate smart
players. He knows what he's supposed to do with the information,
but he's stopping to decide what is best for him.
See... this is what makes Cirie so dangerous. She never swallows
what she's been told whole. She's always got a backup plan, and
a backup plan to that one.
Part 1
Emily trying to play up her danger, her pitch for wanting to
make it past today. She's doing it well but I'm not sure if
Cirie is buying it.
Here we goooo...
Okay... the votes are in... who is Devins going to play his idol
for? For himself. Cirie does not look surprised. Did she see it
coming well enough?
Emily looking way too happy there.
Cirie not looking surprised. She played her extra vote!
Is this going to rocks? It can't, right? It's 5 votes. Right...
only 5 votes this time. Who did they go for? 6 votes? Cirie got
to use her extra twice? Wonder who switched sides. Probably
whoever voted for Devins. I need to watch the votes at the end.
Tiff switched. She wanted to keep Emily but not at the expense
of Cirie apparently.
Part II
Dayum, Emily immediately gets to watch the next tribal from
Jury.
Leap of faith... hmmm. They're going back and forth on it.
Ozzy. OMG Ozzy. You didn't play your idol! Sigh... now to see
how bad the carnage is. There it is. Aubry is hoping you'll vote
for her, Ozzy. OMG, the fucking guilt trip. Suck it up bro.
People you blindsided trusted you. "So much".
Gonna be interesting watching Rizo explain that move to Cirie
though. Given that Ozzy blew up their game, Cirie might not be
as pissed at him as she otherwise might be.

such a small group upsets the dynamics so much - especially when
it hands the one person soooo much power. But of course, that
was the intent, I'm sure. Perhaps the immunity challenge was a
metaphor. The ground is not stable under their feet.
>
> But, I've gotta say, the pre-tribal discussions were
fascinating. Everyone (except Ozzy) brought their A game, I
think. A whole lot of creative thinking. Ozzy was hoisted on his
own petard. He was thinking that telling Aubry everything so
honestly would win him her vote when she was on the jury? Oy.

> LOL, Joe. Devin's stunt last week was in "poor taste"? That's
enough to get him really angry and moping about it? I'm really
tired of him. Even Jonathan out-strategizes him. In fact
Jonathan seems to have grown a lot in that area and isn't
relying so much on his physical performance as he used to.
>
> Cirie continues to be a target and likely will continue to be.
She also managed to get herself out of the line of fire, but
will her luck hold out? As the group shrinks, I'm worried. But I
do agree with what was said in some of the discussions - her
opponents recognize what a great game she has played. If she
makes it to the end, she most likely wins. I'm doubtful that she
can make it to the end for the very reason that it's so obvious,
and others can't let that be a possibility.[/spoiler/]

I agree most everyone brought their "A" game. Ozzy... did not.
I like Ozzy too. I've been thinking about his path IRL.
Difficult childhood, I think. And post his early appearances, he
hasn't found his footing career-wise like so many other players.
So, I could really understand why he feels so betrayed and hurt,
and it's sincere. He feels a little lost to me. Flailing at 45.
It brings out my maternal side for some reason.
This is the moment with Joe that I was talking about - I had
forgotten, it was Jeff that asked Joe if he wanted to go over to
her (probably clued/cued in by someone on the production side in
his ear):

I remember. He was much more of a personable, charismatic guy
even though he ran on his emotions and (probably firehouse
developed) ethical code. I have no idea what happened since
then. He seems more puritanical and...fear driven or
self-doubting?

I'm guessing fear driven. When you watch your own season back
and you figure out how much you didn't know....

Episode 12
Post tribal:
Devins and Cirie... lol. Good try Devins. But she wasn't buying
that at all.
Rizo... I think he made the right assessment that Ozzy was a
sinking ship. Unfortunately. Cirie certainly seems to be stunned
and pissed at his blabbermouth.
Aubry... is giving herself way too much credit for that, EVEN IF
she did play it correctly.
Devins out there with desperation... and wow are they on top of
that. lol.
His breakdown to Joe... Is it wrong that I'm suspicious how much
of that was real? Like... I give credit that he might be really
feeling that way. I'm just questioning his choice of confidant.
Immunity Challenge
Hmmm. Wondering if they've picked this Challenge at this point
because they expect everyone to be exhausted, or because they're
trying to create a more even playing field with the less
athletic ones.
Devins is going to need to keep idol hunting.
Wow, Tiff sure picked up her recovery pace right after Aubry
dropped.
I think Joe needed that win in order not to start getting picked
off himself. And yeah, his reward partner picks... he's clearly
solidifying some ties there.
Reward
Rizo. Don't be stupid. Don't feel confidant that it's Devins.
Just because they are positioning that way now doesn't mean it
will stay that way. Don't take your eye off the ball.
Although... Rizo probably is relatively safe. If they don't go
for Devins, I think they're much more likely to go for Tiff or
Cirie.
Back at camp
Um. Tiff is right. Patience will go a long way here. Rice does
not take that long to cook, Jonathon. Unless you keep doing that
shit. He might be having problems thinking though if he's
really that starved.
Hmmm. I could be wrong about Rizo being safe. Although...
leaving Devins for another day is how Devins makes it to the
end.
On the other hand, I also think this might be 20 minutes worth
of convo on a possibility that was floated being made into a big
plotline because it is SO obvious to me that Devins should go
before he has a chance to find an idol.
Tribal
Ooof. Ozzy still looking upset to be on the Jury side of this
tribal.
Yup. Everyone being open and obvious about it. And omg. Aubry
might have just opened her mouth a little too much. If that
didn't paint a massive target on her back, they are not paying
attention.
Rizo... hmmmm. Devins played his shot in the dark!
It was the right move even if it didn't save him.
and there he goes. Must have been unanimous because they didn't
draw out the conclusion by naming anyone else.
That... is a very interesting group left now. there's only one
of them that I don't see having a case for why they should win.
(Aubry).

Double-header!
Post-tribal
Yup, it was more an attempt to flush his idol than a real
attempt to get him.
Tiff's in trouble. But... Someone else could be in more trouble.
I could see Jonathon on the chopping block today. Also... don't
tell Cirie? Are you people nuts? You don't blindside Cirie
unless she's the one you're getting out.
Immunity Challenge
That puzzle maze is new i think. I don't remember seeing that
before. Interesting.
Tiff is struggling with balance in a way that I don't remember
seeing her have problems before.
OMG. They don't know how to spell inconcievable? Really? This
is weird. like, super weird that they are helping the two
massive threats instead of just solving it for themselves. And
BOOM. Tiff paid attention to herself and only herself and got it
done.
Tiff with Immunity... Aubry is probably in trouble. Because Tiff
will probably make the case for Rizo and Cirie will tell Rizo
he's got to play his Idol.
ohhhhhhhhhhh. they were locked in to working against Tiff. Good
for her.
Back at camp
Aubry is right that Cirie is the biggest threat. But... is
anyone really ready to turn on her?
Cirie is nobody's fool. This is what makes Cirie dangerous. She
doesn't take anyone's loyalty for granted. She sees herself as
the strategic move and she goes to counter it. Joe "manipulate
as gracefully".... lol. that's well said.
If Aubry survives tonight, she has a much better case for why
she deserves to win.
Tribal
Jeff really digging to expose those cracks.
And they got her. Dayum. Aubry and Rizo are making some very
subtle and very smart moves right now. I think he's got a far
better story than she does if he's sitting next to her at the
end though. I think she's blind to that.
