Oscar probably better fits my mood today, but this was saved on
the work computer.
As to forums, i think fewer is better for conversation flow.
Maybe
hax column
recipes
politics
general ot nonsense
I'll go with whatever anyway.

Maybe a "tech support for the hopelessly confused" with faqs on
how to like, add emojis, etc?

On my workpc emojis come up with a right click or the windows
key + .
On my phone there's a key on the key pad.
There's also some right above the box here when you reply. ::)

I appreciate your efforts setting this up, Ani, but I admit I'm
feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the choices we now have. We
went from one/soon to be none yesterday morning, to so many
options between this and Reddit. Too many choices, threads. I
hope that we can eventually mutually agree to one site or the
other, Reddit or this. It's going to be hard to keep up with
everything and everyone if we maintain both sites.

Hmmm. I generally agree that fewer is better, but I think there
were some solid suggestions of categories. I've done a little
digging in to the mod tools here and it's relatively painless to
start and delete categories/boards/sub-forums, so I think I'll
try to group as much as possible and if something isn't really
getting used, we'll abandon that piece and move the threads over
to another relevant area.
Avatars: No worry, whatever you update with will distribute back
across all your posts. :)

I keep getting asked to click on all pictures containing a truck
or an airplane. When will that end?
Over the years I've posted a number of OTs asking the rest of
you for advice when I didn't want to write to Hax or wait for
the chat. I'd like to allow asking each other for advice.

Click on your screenname
forum profile is one option on the left, click that, and upload
avatar is an option
