Three things I found out about the halftime show:
The "grass" was actually people in costume.
The wedding was real.
The boy who got the grammy was Liam Ramos.

Heard it wasn't Liam, but the image is there anyway.
All I really learned from the show was that my spanish is now
really bad, could only pick up bits and pieces. Liked all the
"American" flags towards the end anyway.

Good to know. Actually an actor/model named Lincoln Fox.

Between these two articles, most of the symbolism of the
halftime show is explained:

There's a Rolling Stone piece which I am guessing is worth
reading but it's behind a paywall. But I bet it is the best out
there. I have also seen some very good explainers on Instagram
from Puerto Ricans -- all of whom say they bawled through the
entire thing.
I did see Pedro Pascal and thought I must be losing my mind, but
it really was him.
The "grass" or "bushes" people are talking about is sugar cane.
Legacy of colonial sugar plantations.

I would like to think that now that the Hawks won, against the
Pats, that we can *finally* stop hearing about The Interception
at the last Super Bowl between these two. Right? Right??

If the RedSox could stop talking about poor Bill Buckner,
anything is possible.

I didn’t know until just now there was an alternate halftime
show put on by turning point. So yeah, those motherfuckers
aren’t racist at all now are they.

I saw a post this morning from someone who said when people were
talking about "the mayonnaise commercial" she assumed they meant
the TPUSA alternative show and didn't realize there was an
actual commercial for mayo ;D

In formal logic, a false premise implies any result you'd like.
So sure, why not? :-)

Bad Bunny is off social media. Every day there’s another reason
why I am so glad I don’t go on there anymore. Toxic doesn’t even
begin describe it.

The boy was not Liam. He’s an actor.
“The boy Bad Bunny gave his Grammy to during the Super Bowl LX
halftime show on February 8, 2026, is 5-year-old child actor and
model Lincoln Fox. He was cast to represent a young version of
Bad Bunny (Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio), symbolizing the
future passing to the past in a poignant, artistic moment“
Knew the wedding was real, didn’t know the grass was people.
ETA - I see the correction has already been noted.

Seattle DiLLy and grand2 went to the Seahawks celebration parade
in downtown Seattle today … that had a great time and the sky
was beautiful blue. Here’s the QB celebrating:
