Acl, she’s lovely and I strongly suspect Susie will be a failed
foster. You’re so good to her, even sleeping on the floor!!
       [/quote]
Fortunately, we’ve moved to the bed!
You might be right about failing at fostering. Even Mr said “…
if we return her”, not “when we return her” ! Meanwhile, she’s
still listed on the shelter website as In Foster. She’s from the
same shelter where we got Sasha and Mia.
Sasha was seriously yelling at me this morning to let her in,
but Susie is still too congested. Seems to be improving but
       we’re not there yet.
She’s very quiet, hasn’t meowed, doesn’t play with toys, but
loves to be with us. She’ll come for cuddles before going to eat
when I put fresh food down.

Mojo for little Susie please! She’s getting surgery for a polyp
in her left sinus/ear tomorrow morning.
I didn’t like the way she was still struggling to breathe after
getting meds for a URI, and she wasn’t eating as much as I
thought she should, so I called the shelter and took her to
their vet yesterday morning. They sent us to their emergency vet
who determined it wasn’t a cold, after two rounds of treatment
for one, but a blockage. So the shelter vet scheduled the
procedure for tomorrow, Monday. I’ll drop her off at 7 am,
       before work.
I’m so glad they scheduled her as soon as possible so we can get
       her breathing properly.
And since we’re fostering, the shelter is picking up all the
costs, although I’ll most likely make a donation towards her
care. Especially if we, um, fail at fostering. Which is still in
       part up to Mia. 😸

Mojo on its way for Susie, the vets, you, the other ACL cats....
Anyone who needs it if it means Susie gets better and becomes a
       foster fail.

Mojo for Susie and all the ACL household. Hope the procedure is
successful and recovery is quick, for you all.
An extra dose of mojo for Mia to be accepting of Susie 😊

Oh I hate it when they have trouble breathing. Poor Susie.
Sending all the kitty mojo her way.

Susie has received more love in this past week than her entire
life before, so I hope ❤️ will help her make a
full recovery and Mia is waiting at your front door with a
       welcome home sign 🪧 🐈

Dropped her off at 7 am for the surgery. Will know more later.
Meanwhile, I had to get up super early, for me, and I’m ready
for a nap now. But instead I’m on the train to work.
