Interest in dedicated Mobile App build of Forum

The platform developer is working on building a true Android
version of the forum software. Work on an iPhone/iOS version
depends on level of interest (not just us, but us included so
trying to help them gauge interest).

They're also looking for any features we'd like or ideas that we
have about it. So far the only one I came up with is the ability
to multi-react to posts (pick more than one of the reaction
buttons). Anything else you're interested in?

I have no problem using the site with my i phone- I am not sure
what the need is or what would be different. I do use my laptop
when I am going to be on the forum a while - except when
       traveling.
I don’t have any experience with android.

Do you switch to the web version when you're on the phone?
Because this would be a rebuild of the mobile version that would
hopefully function well enough that it would make navigating
easy enough that you wouldn't want to do that.

I access the forum on my Android phone, my iPad, and my laptop.
I have no problems using the full site on any of these, so I
personally likely wouldn't even use a mobile app.

I am too stupid about tech to answer this question. I am
       unaware of ever switching anything.

I don't use my phone for much of anything. But here's hoping it
       makes it easier for others.

You're not stupid, just unfamiliar with tech terms.
When you look at this site on your phone, do you use the full
site or the mobile site? The mobile site has less functionality.
Typically the site is smart enough to recognize You're on a
mobile device and will normally present you with the mobile
site. You have to scroll down to the bottom and select Full
desktop site (or words to that effect.)
When you're on your phone, does the site look different? That's
       the mobile site.
I choose the full site, but after some updates the text is so
small it's annoying and I have to turn my phone to the side and
I still have to make the text larger.

I use the full site on my iphone, macbook, and work
windows-based computer. They can do what they like as long as
they don't mess up what we have.
That said, multi-response could be fun, but it will probably
increase use of "dumb" and the carrot-wrench-dildo thing.

ok, thanks for the explanation! I use the full website, not
mobile. My phone is not very large, I read everything in the
horizontal position except sites where that isn’t an option.

I think multiple responses would just be confusing.
Pick one and move on people!
Kidding, but I do think it would be a lot. Overthinker here,
       maybe.
