       Microplastics controversy
       By: Tryp_OR Date: January 13, 2026, 3:46 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Though I find it very plausible that microplastics contaminate
our bodies, it seems possible that some recent findings are in
error (particularly the "equivalent of a plastic spoon in our
       brains" paper).
  HTML https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2026/jan/13/microplastics-human-body-doubt
Short story even shorter: the detection methods may well have
been fooled by fats in the body -- the brain has a lot of fat in
       it.

This is potentially really positive news and I just read the
same article and was starting to post it here!

Fatheads are definitely smarter than boneheads and muscleheads.
