We couldn’t even finish it.

Eraserhead
I've heard of worse, but never wasted my time with any of them.
This one I saw back around 1980 with a friend who thought it was
brilliant and talked a bunch of us into going. I'm pretty sure
you have to be stoned.

Tough call. I'll say (as someone who absolutely loved the
re-release of the Fawcett Captain Marvel comics in the '70s)
that Shazam hurt my soul.

Funny, I just watched Shazam last night. Okay, I fell asleep
through the last 30 minutes, so will have to hold off on my
verdict. I used to watch the series in the 70s but never read
the comics. But I get where you're coming from.

Ishtar (dustin hoffman & who the hell knows).
I was forced to watch it new years eve 1988 when I was studying
in Japan.
Some American friends & I were invited to watch movies with some
Japanese students. The Japanese (inexplicably) looooooved Ishtar
and wanted us to watch it again with them. We (silently) rolled
our eyes and agreed.
I doubt I could tell you a thing about it bc I probably promptly
fell asleep. Or blocked it out. Or both.

Wow! That’s a bad movie.
Billy the Kid vs Dracula just made me turn off the (black &
white) TV.

Titanic, followed closely by Waterworld. The "new" King Kong
would probably be in third place, but we didn't see the whole
thing - hated it so much we walked out. If a movie in which
Adrien Brody goes shirtless can't hold my interest, you know the
script stinks, LOL.

Interesting topic! The two highly-rated movies I couldn't stand
were The Babadook and Synecdoche, New York.
