The backyard bird cam shows both male and female Northern
cardinals and a pyrrhuloxia. The one I've seen on the camera is
a female. I have to admit this delights me no end.
Meep has apparently decided that our porch light is her night
time roost. I'm going to put a platform up high over on the
other side of the bay window from where the porch light is and
see if that'll lure her there. That's farther from the front
door and so we'd hopefully bother her less as we go in and out
in the morning and evening. And she'd be farther from whatever
deliveries get dropped off.

And meep might make fewer deliveries right by your porch light
too!

Meep apparently doesn't foul where she roosts. The only bird
droppings I'm finding on the porch are from the chachalacas, who
mercifully don't come onto the porch all that often.
