If that guy spent the entire trip playing those fire-breathing
bagpipes, they would've finished in under a hundred.

Wow. Shades of Bligh and the loyal members of the Bounty's
crew, sailing 3500 nautical miles (6500 km) in an open boat
across the Pacific from near Tahiti to the Dutch settlement at
Timor. These brothers went farther and faster, but Bligh
suffered from other disadvantages starting with a seriously
overloaded boat and nowhere near enough fresh water and food.
