       World's richest shipwreck

       This came up on my Firefox feed.

       The San Jose, sunk in 1708 with 200 tons of treasure valued as
       high as $17 billion. Found by Colombian government exploration
       but also claimed Spain. The specific coins found made the
       identification possible.  The treasure has not been recovered
       yet, but with that much value you can be sure the effort will be
       made.
