Today, we said goodbye to our first cat and dear companion,
Gilbert. We brought him home in late 2013. He was an “only
child” for several years, and he was a good “brother” to Ginger,
our tortie-tabby. He especially loved lying on my lap. He was
diagnosed with feline lymphoma a few weeks ago, and he died
peacefully at home, with the assistance of a caring
veterinarian.
Gilbert has a special place in our hearts. We will miss him
greatly.
