And by sea for places like the Caribbean and Bermuda. But not
air travel, except for domestic flights. My husband used his
for years before we finally got him a TXID.

This. My RealID driver's license fits neatly into the
compartment of my wallet designed for carrying it. My passport
book doesn't fit neatly anywhere except my laptop bag. I'd much
rather carry the license than the passport, if given the option.

I use the passport card as a second form of ID. It fits in the
same compartment as my RealID DL. The proper passport book is
in our safe deposit box at the bank.

My passport card is in my wallet. The passport book is at home
unless it's packed for an international trip.
