I wasn't actually getting error messages yesterday, but there
were a number of times when the site just refused to load on my
phone at all.

I got some of the handshakes yesterday and today. I will report
up to the support forum so keep posting...
but I also suspect it is possible that this is bot attacks from
the new member who I had to moderate over the weekend and I will
discuss that possibility with the support forum which might
result in some additional IP bans if so.

If it makes any difference, I seem to be getting it when I hit
"...unread posts..." which I use a lot, and reply and post. It
doesn't seem to happen with other links. It may mean nothing.

I couldn't get on this site at all on two separate occasions
last night and during the night. I got the handshake message a
couple of times, but on the occasions when I couldn't get on at
all it was just the spinning and it wouldn't load.
Today I got the long red line when I tried to react to a post.
It recorded my reaction, it just took a while.
So it's just occasional things other than my issues last night.

Agree. I've had some of the usual slowing the last couple of
days - a couple of handshake messages. Slowness in recognizing
my reaction. And a couple of times that I couldn't get in that
my browser identified as Host Error.
I'm guessing that the host is aware, but since it's been
mentioned, I thought I'd add to the polling count.

Just got another handshake error coming back to the website from
a quick check on another. A refresh did let me right back in.
