I'm sorry, but I'm not going to supply my date of birth.
Identity theft is a real thing and I'm not going to make it
easier by spreading around my information to every tech bro who
can't think of any other way to approach the information they
need. And it's too much trouble to make up a lie and keep track
of it.

You are already in the Discord server, so where is it asking for
your DOB? Because that may be a security setting that I need to
change within the server.

It asks as some kind of safety precaution to assure them that we
are adults. I gave them a fake date, so that goes to show how
useful a question it is. Lots of sites are doing this these
days, kkt, as a cya because of laws designed to protect minors.
Many of us just lie. I happen to have a password manager that
allows me to keep track of what I said. But, honestly, in the
many years that I've been doing it, I have never needed to know.

I followed all their directions and tried to sign up. I keep
getting a message saying I have to claim the account but when I
click on the email thingy it sends me to a blank page with
eventually a message saying safari can’t open it.

Odd. It's a huge platform and works with every major browser
(and a bunch of minor ones) out there.

I have a new iPad that is still in the box because I haven’t had
time to set it up. When I do I can try again. It should have the
latest version of everything.

For reference, the server is showing you as having joined, and I
assigned you your Nutterati role, so when you are able to claim
the account you should have full access to everything that's
currently available.

I'm having to verify I'm human very often today. Not a problem
for me, just noting in case it's a sign of some kind of larger
issue.

Update: Now it's freezing when I try to react to posts. So no
one knows that I think they're funny or winners or correct. I'm
also having to prove I'm human on AAM so it might be a me thing.
