What a remarkable life!
And I noticed she is one of the only women at the coronation who
is hatless. What a rebel! 😂

When you are 100 years old and have accomplished the impossible
you deserve to wear whatever you want. Even to a coronation.
She is dressed nicely, but maybe hats bother her or maybe going
out shopping for a hat wasn't an option for her. Who really
cares?
I admire her so much! There were so many heroic people who did
so much during the war - some we know about and know their names
and others who we don't know that much about. They are all
heroes.
I also greatly admire the Navajo code talkers.

Queen Elizabeth would have been happy to know she was there hat
or not as a fellow veteran of the women who helped in the war
effort.
I just learned recently that there were other tribes involved in
the code talkers work too. Whether fewer in number or something
else we don’t hear about them.
