I agree that this week's game play was a good way to break up
the power group ganging up on the underdogs - for all the good
it did. I was annoyed at Xander by the end - he is too trusting
to accurately count the votes.

Yeah, I was like "Well, THAT didn't work." I wasn't particularly
sad to see Xander go. I'm a lot more concerned about Erika
leaving. I like her and she's stuck in that spot where the
people she'd work well with are all hooked up with other people
and not looking to expand that. And her former allies sold her
down the river, and I think she did the right thing in reversing
time because she was screwed either way, and she might as well
be screwed, have made a major move, AND gotten safety for the
week.

He's still in. But he did lose an ally, because he didn't
protect her. OTOH, I'm not sure how long she would have stayed
an ally to him. Nonetheless, she added another vote to the
underdogs - like Erika. So Erika is also more vulnerable now.

Ah, right - I lost that in the aftermath.

I totally get it. I almost always have to rely on the
introductory scenes from the prior week to remember who went
home the previous week.

Okay, catching up.
Shan is gone - so sorry, too bad, you rolled the dice (and were
not nearly discreet enough about it) and you lost. I do respect
the interaction between you and Ricard.
Watching last night's episode now - UGH. Can we please just get
rid of Danny already?
Do or Die twist - FASCINATING. I suspect they're trying to break
up that supermajority thing again. Sad that Erika is vulnerable,
I hope that she makes it through tonight.
Liane - omg woman you do not explode like that about a
blindside. Yeah, you give some people some grief, but really you
take that as info and you store it and use it. The fact that
you're not a target yet is only because people are actually
trying to get out the players that are good.

I am stunned at Liane's diversity speech while blatantly
ignoring and not including Erika in any of the commentary about
the challenges of being black (hey, I thought we caught up to
the point that it is POC in general, not just black people who
have these kinds of experiences?). And Erika (and Ricard!
Hellooooo!) is just sitting there listening to her and Deshawn
and Danny. Oh, and now the white people are speaking. And um.
Heather did better than Zander. By a mile.

Omg. OMGGGGGG. And either Jeff doesn't loop Erika and Ricard
into that convo, or they choose not to show whatever comments
they have? This is... gross.

Yup. That was production's hand ALLLLL over that with Jeff
seriously trying to get Deshawn to choose his own ouster there
and subvert a vote. Didn't work. Production might be getting
frustrated.
And I was wrong. There went Liana. I'm only upset because it
wasn't Danny or Deshawn. Otherwise, I don't think she's been
playing a good game and it's alright for her to go.
