Intermission. Okay, they just advertised the Beyond the Edge
show which I think is perhaps a more serious Survivor-style
version of "I'm a Celebrity! Get Me Out of Here!" I will
definitely at least check it out. Starts March 16th.
Also, tomorrow my sister and I will have a watch party with each
other for the new season of Top Chef that just started and I
will start babbling about that. They're in Houston this season.
Have not checked out who any of the cheftestants are yet.
And now... back to the Amazing Race finale.
       [/quote]
No, it starts on the 9th according to TV Guide. 2 hour premiere
show. I was excited to see it was starting so soon. I hadn't
       expected that.

Church architecture - impressive, I love stuff like that.
Counting all the columns - what happens if you already know how
many columns there were? Somebody .... lmao. Penn
"Evolutionarily... we would have been eaten by tigers by now".
Arun and Natalia are about to catch up to Dusty & Ryan if they
aren't careful... damn - there they go. About time boys!
Penn - process of elimination - makes sense to me. It's what I
       would do.
That's right Arun! No giving up!
Cayla and Raquel, you're making me a little nutty. But wait -
how did they miss/skip the counting columns roadblock?
Rewinding... I'm still missing it... I'm going to assume this
       will make sense soon?
Aawwww. Nataliya finished the fastest on the columns (as they
showed it), but they were just too far behind. Sighs.

No, no - ACTUAL Survivor starts on the 9th. This other show
       starts on the 16th!

Tiger line was great! OTOH, why did he guess odd numbers so
often? Of course with my luck, an odd number would have been
       right.
C&R did the columns. Quickly IIRC. Natalia seemed fast, too but
it's sometimes hard to tell if it's just the editing.

Love love loving Dusty & Ryan and their attitudes.
OMG - all those other poor people in the front of the plane. I
really hope that's the production crew and they're not torturing
       other regular passengers.
lol @ the fake-out your clue is in the pocket in case of
       emergency.
Very creative job on the set up of this first challenge on the
       final LA leg.
Aw geez, D/R - they're sooo lost.... YOU GUYS ARE DINGBATTING!
       GET IT TOGETHER!!!
       Ooh! Piņata fun!
Well... no - you will not find the clue if you whack the wrong
       Piņata.
Cayla and Raquel - that was dumb, she's got a fanny pack on, she
could have just held the clues in the fanny pack rather than
doing extra work to retrace steps.
D/R might be able to make up some time here.

Foley effects fun. Good use of production environment (which is
       CV cleared) for a challenge.
D/R - please catch up. please catch up.
Kim/Penn - might have an advantage here. Divvying up is great.
If only Penn can resist his urge to give directions along the
       way....
lol @ traffic jam... that was not an accident. Depending on time
of day that road can be a great equalizer. Either it slows you
down and lets others catch up, but you get on it later enough
that you can close some of the gap.
Ohhhh. I love that final challenge. "Were you paying attention
to what you were doing during this whole experience?"
Cayla & Raquel - at least they know what is wrong.
But they're all screwing this up - they're changing multiple
things each time, not trying one thing.
Well. I'm okay with that result.

Love D & R's attitude at the end here. I love that I feel like
they will continue to enjoy just having done this, regardless of
where they came in. That they really appreciate the experience
for what it is in a way that I'm don't know that C & R will.

       Kim. That was lovely.

They're being paid to listen to it, I'm sure.
"Well. I'm okay with that result."
Me, too. Though I wish D&R had gotten it together enough to flip
2nd and 3rd. But that was a small thing overall. I can't be
unhappy with any of the final 3, really. But as you say, D&R are
more philosophical than C&R and probably got more out of the
       trip.
