This time two of the sentences were about the gardening shears,
and they did not contradict each other, so odds were that they
       were true.

It took me twice (really 2.5 times), because when I assumed as
Aardtacha did that the two talking about the garden shears had
to be truth tellers, I then started filling out the grid on that
basis. I must have put some things in the wrong place, because I
ran up against some contradictions in the grid and had to start
       over.
       These aren't easy.

I'm having to remind myself that I don't have to have the entire
grid filled in -- it is possible to know the answer with empty
slots on the grid. When I tried this kind of puzzle as a kid I
could not wrap my mind around that and often gave up, even when
       I had the right information.
Today "A ticking sound was seen outdoors" amused me no end.

       Well got half of them.
Still, the idea of a corgi stampede and someone wanting to break
into the butler "industry" was good for a laugh.

Did better than I did. Oh well.
And yeah, the corgi stampede made me giggle.
