       Having watched Crested Caracaras the years I lived in Texas,
       this did not surprise me, but I loved watching these Striated
       Caracaras.  Rad!  :)

       We used to have to take our pups out on leashes even in the back
       yard because we have a pair of crested caracaras that nest
       somewhere in our neighborhood/near our neighborhood. You could
       just see them thinking how tasty our roly-poly girls would be.
       Fortunately they are way too big to be taken now, but we still
       get treated to the visits by the caracaras.
