I'd hate to live in their house. I for one, hasn't a single
blank wall in my apartment.
When I had a Skype job interview, I found an area that didn't
reveal too much, but my standard location has some nice, but
very religious art work in the background.

I set up in front of our fireplace. Maybe move a plant so it's
in the corner of the screen.

background that is not your physical actual background.

Did relatives tell her in advance that the neighbors come over
and how often? That's a pretty big oopsie if they didn't. Hate
to say it, but I'd also be concerned about liability in the
housesitter's position. If someone gets hurt, sure they sue the
homeowners, but they also could, and likely would, sue the
sitter since she was responsible at the time for maintaining the
property in a safe manner.
I also wondered if she can get in touch with her relatives, let
them know that this much pool use is making things difficult for
her and try to get permission to tell the neighbors no, or to at
the very least limit the use to convenient, and reduced, times
for chatter.

Are they using the bathroom and messing up the house? Leaving
more stuff for Chatter to clean up after? No, I don't think
it's just about solo use of the pool. It is an imposition on
chatter who is not the homeowner, isn't friends with the
neighbors. The neighbors can swim someplace else while the
homeowners are away.

We are starting to do Teams more at work, since our new owners
are based elsewhere, and I have had fun with the different
backgrounds. (But had to tell my cubical mate to move it, when
he was on a work call-cell phone and I was in a meeting.)

I kind of get the philosophical debate of this subject, but
actually having an ongoing argument with a colleague about it?
Not even a good friend or spouse? That seems weird to me. Let it
go.
And having worked at a restaurant where I was the one who had to
stay until the last customer left, I think saying absolutely
nothing for 2 HOURS after you've closed is incredibly strange.

OMG, such a good show. At least the first few seasons, and then
it went off the rails.
But on a related note, if I keep my camera off it's because I
have done absolutely nothing to improve my appearance since I
woke up. I don't need my colleagues seeing me look like that.
