I think Harley is lovely but I don't actually like orange cats.
Calicos are my fave even if they are named Naughty Nori.

I've had gingers and calicos. My current favorite is a grey
Chartreaux. He's a very good boy.

I know, I know. They say to wait 2 weeks to introduce a new cat.
       But I can’t.
Let Sasha in room. She seemed almost oblivious, Harley was
cautiously checking her out. They kept their distance, and after
a few minutes, Harley looked like he was going to take a nap. He
did hiss once, Sasha ignored it.
When it was time for bed I brought Sasha back in. She stayed on
one side of the bed. He was briefly on the other but I think he
spent most of the night on the bathroom floor.
Overall I’d say first contact was successful. Going to (try to)
wait a few more days to introduce Mia.

Two weeks? I did it in hours and never had a serious issue.

That’s what they say. Usually I can’t keep Sasha away. The only
cat she had longer term issues with was Mia. Have no idea why,
although maybe Mia ‘started it’ and Sasha gave it back.
It might be different with kittens- you can do it sooner? I
dunno. I just know we don’t wait long. Give them a chance to
sniff each other under the door, make careful and controlled
       intros.
Harley has been sneezing a little, so I want to be careful about
that too. I want to get him to our vet as soon as possible.
Maybe Thursday or Friday if I can manage a longer lunch break.
Otherwise it will be Sunday since we have plans on Saturday.

Harley's new side gig. (also: he took a page from the gerbil
playbook with the cardboard destruction tendency)

Looks like Harley has a cold. Hoping I can get him in to see my
vet tomorrow. They’re a ‘no appointment’’ vet, but I do have to
work and their hours are not the best. I wish they’d bring back
the evening hours they had before the pandemic, which was also
before one of the vets retired. They recently added 2 new vets
so maybe they will, at least on some nights. 🤞
It’s getting harder to keep Sasha out of his room, although
they’re not interacting when she is/was in the room. Obviously
I’m keeping them apart since he’s sniffing a little.
But semi indifference is way better than flying fur! And I think
when he feels better and gets more used to everything, then
       they’ll be friends.
At least his appetite is still good.

Harley is an exceptionally handsome fellow. Maybe that's what he
was saying into the mirror - oh look at you you handsome
       fluffer.

And he seems to like being called Handsome Harley. 😁
(If I wrote that before, my apologies for repeating it)
