       Harley's a winner, ACL
Like everyone else, I fell in love just from his picture.
Congrats to him and to you and Mr.
       💚

Gosh it's too bad he's having such a hard time getting
       comfortable in his new space...

       Mojo please!
Crap. The shelter didn't do the snap test for felv/fiv. They
sent me a link for an appointment- the first one is a week from
       Sunday. That's too far away.
I missed their call and didn't see the message until after
hours. I hope they can squeeze him in this weekend. If not, I'm
going to ask how much my vet charges.
I normally confirm that a cat is negative, but just assumed they
had done the test and he was ok. I can’t expose my girls if he’s
positive. It could be especially bad for Sasha.
       This is upsetting.

Well, I'm an embarrassed idiot. When I looked at the appointment
calendar, I thought August 11 was next Sunday. Nope, it's
tomorrow. We are almost halfway through August already.
Made the appointment. Schlepping back into the city (i.e.,
Manhattan) tomorrow afternoon. Not thrilled about it, but will
do it with them rather than pay $92 to have my own vet do the
test today. Besides, if he is positive, I'd have to return him.
As I'm sure I said earlier, exposure would probably kill Sasha,
and I wouldn't want to infect Mia either.
Fingers are crossed because he's such a sweet and affectionate
kitty, although there's been some minor under-the-door hissing
       going on.

Harley tested negative for Felv/Fiv! Yay!
Heading back home now. He is such a chill dude. Handles the car
       like a pro.

I was so afraid you were posting to tell us that he'd tested
positive and you were surrendering him. So happy for everyone!

He slept most of the way home - about an hour. Like I said, he’s
       chill.

I love the Facebiter. Really truly I do. But I have never been
more jealous of another cat owner than I am in this moment right
       now.
I'm glad Ham met tested negative and I'm glad he's a good boy
for you. But if he ever isn't a good boy, please tell me.
