       Crowdsourcing Dude's Sonnet
       By: LabPartner Date: July 28, 2024, 1:03 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
       Here's the current poem:
       [quote]A Sonnet
       [member=17]AbidingDudev4.1[/member]
       So we come to the end of the weekend
       And it's only dear Hax and old Amy
       The manners kids are not here to offend
       And no managers to go all a blame-y
       Feel free to go off in any old way
       But don't wake the mods til noon
       We'll all cheer on whatever you say
       Be it on tulips or Wordle or Dune
       Be it politics COVID or bees making honey
       Or mojo requests for friends and their floofs
       We'll all agree to take the billionaire's money
       And make all sorts of puns and goofs
       So pull up a chair and let it all out
       It's Sunday here, you can even shout.[/quote]
       The line that [member=5]muskrat[/member] demands should be
       changed is bolded.
       The potential replacements as suggested by
       [member=17]AbidingDudev4.1[/member]
       " There's only dear Hax and the new guy
       ....
       And no manager tales to laugh or cry"
       Dude's lament:
       I am going to miss all a-blamey
       The suggestions of [member=134]VanGoghSunflowers[/member]
       "There's only Hax and the new Amy" or "there's only Hax and Mr.
       Not-Amy" would let us keep all a-blamey...
       [font=arial black]Let the crowdsourcing begin.[/font]

       It's more like dogs playing poker.
       Go ahead and put a pug in it or 4 great danes.

       their masterpiece, this excuse no longer holds up.

       Well, he gave permission after I denied responsibility. So I
       win.

       IIRC he originally granted you the use of the work with a free
       license. This includes the freedom to alter. Therefore... nope,
       he was just tossing that ball back in your court.
       But nice try!
