Grandma's Marathon in Duluth took place yesterday. It's pretty
well known in part because running in Duluth in June is usually
pleasant and the race goes along the shore of Lake Superior.
One of the headlines in the on-line version of Minneapolis paper
referred to the "winner of Grandma's" and then also mentioned
       the women's winner.
The paper itself referred to men's and women's but I am still
thinking of sending a complaint about how it was phrased in my
       addition of the on-line paper.
My body type is that of a sprinter so I never even considered
trying to any distance type run but I've watched the times over
the years and have been pleased to see the top women get closer
and closer to the top men.
