Boston accent. Boston is close to where they pahk the cah in

Today's life lesson is that you got to try to get the reward.
Rocket was not as scared this morning so he was absolutely
interested in the chicken.
I couldn't get him to step up into the front seat area but
realized that he wanted to "follow" me through the truck when I
crouched down on the other side of driver seat so i told him
"come on. Let's go this way". That is when I also learned that
he knew "let's go this way". I say it a lot because we have
lots of dividing paths in the condo complex.
So I got the brilliant idea of opening the back doors (not the
hatch) and trying that. With both seats up I get a bench seat.
Within 5 min he was standing on the seat. As soon as I got out
he wanted to follow me so I let him come out immediately. We
then went around and shut all the doors and locked it.
Later in the same walk, he actually walked over to the truck to
check out the grassy strip along the fence.
So happy. And honestly I would prefer he gets into the back as
opposed to the front. I just didn't think he would do it. It's
a very short step from back seat as a bench to back seat gets
you into the back hatch area. And if putting him through the
back passenger door gets him there then I'm good.
Obviously we have far to go because I can't even get a door shut
but I thought we would be stuck at this phase a lot longer.

Yes! If you’re ever near Harvard Yard, park nearby, not IN so
you can visit the wonderful museums! The mineral collection and
the glass flowers are my favorites.

I'm not sure if the poodle is aware of regional variations in
spelling though ;)

I would have liked to have gone inside Widener and looked
around. But I missed my chance when a librarian I knew from UW
went there to work for a couple of years and then came back.

I am in the NE, although not Boston. But we come across so many
different accents here in the NYC area. I used "wicked smaht"
totally on purpose, even though it is native to Boston. It just
felt like using that expression emphasized my point.
I also sometimes use "y'all."
Or say "go with."
Deal with it.

I live in New Hampshire and say “y’all” too, sometimes even “all
y’all.” Wicked smaht is just so much more intelligent than
merely smart, y’all!
