He's so cute, if I came to see him I would certainly adopt him!

Hmm. I know they play with their privates, but it also made me
wonder if something is bothering him down there.
Although it may also just be that he’s so young. Hope the
       adoption is successful.

       He's just a baby!
No wonder he's not fully house trained.
It's really really important at this age to keep everything very
       very positive.

Seriously... I'm allergic to him, and I want to adopt him!

We are getting better at this. The both of us. But he keeps me
very busy. You cant take your eye of him for a second. I've
found my remote control in his mouth twice. The best $2.50 I
ever spent was on the cows ear. He loves chewing on it and it
mostly saves every other piece of everything that exists in my
       house.
Cats are not thrilled with the puppy but mostly because the
       silly goose barks at them.
We went out to dinner with him. He was a very good boy. See
       attached pic.
He really is a great puppy. The problem in this relationship is
me. I don't have the energy for a puppy. I went into this
saying I didn't want to foster puppies and now I know that I
just cant. They needed an emergency placement so I volunteered.
I expected him to get adopted fast because he really is
adorable. I have an adoptive family coming by tomorrow to see
       him.

I got my current dog when she was 7 months old. There was a
young woman adopting a very young lab puppy in the shelter at
the same time. The pup was absolutely adorable, but I remember
that first year I had my lab pup. I can't do that anymore
either - it's just too much. I came home every day at mid day
the entire first year of my lab pup's life to feed him lunch,
get him outside for a walk and play with him.
While 7 months is still a puppy in many ways, the comparison to
a very young puppy is night and day. But I admit I really wish
I knew what my dog looked like when she was tiny. She was
already 52 pounds when I got her. Of course there are no baby
       pictures, sadly.

       House lead!
Sigh. No one ever wants to use a house lead.

I did try it and discovered he could pee right behind me in the
5 minutes I took to slap together lunch and I didn't notice
       until I turned around.
Dogwood is now Frankie and is off to his new home. I feel like
he was getting a bit attached and I feel bad that he is off to a
       new home with new people.
I miss him but I don't miss the chaos he created. The cats
absolutely don't miss him. If he didn't bark at them it would
have went better. When he slept on the couch, Sasha parked
herself on her usual spot on my chest.
Foster Adventure #1 is finished. One last pic of Dogwood
       holding Mr. Foxy.

I have used one, although not often. Introducing my 52 pound
dog to my almost 1 year old granddaughter, I not only had my dog
on a lead but all four adults were within reach of the baby,
hovering. It went well and they became best friends.
Also when people come into my house who don't like dogs, I'll
initially put my dog on a lead until I know she'll obey the
"stay" command. She will, but sometimes it takes a minute - or
       five.
Contractors or delivery people in the house - we just put her in
       another room or outside.

Billie, I came on here tonight hoping you’d post he got a new
       home! I’m so glad! 💕
Isn’t it weird how we get so invested in the lives of our
       invisible friends here?!
